Back in June 2014 we shot many locations for the upcoming kung-fu film Once Upon a Time in Ichirouganaim. With the film nearing completion, some further aerial shots were required which Above Barbados duly delivered. Comprising multiple locations across the island, the footage will add another viewing dimension to the already impressive production.

A client requested a shot showing the location of a new development of land in the Bulkeley area, on short notice. Utilising the quadcopter drone's capability to show the location from a different height and angle, a composite image was compiled to showcase the location of the plots of land.

Our first visit to Cove Bay was blighted by some bad weather and overcast conditions. So we revisited on a better day today to get some further photos, videos and panoramas. The gusty wind (up to 15knots) made things a little interesting but nevertheless, we managed to snap the shots we came for!

Above Barbados are proud to have supplied the aerial video footage used in the forthcoming Porgie & Murdah movie 'Unusual Suspects' shot entirely in Barbados. Perhaps every quadcopter/multi-rotor pilot's worst nightmare? - having to film a mobile tower... Well, we were hired by a local media agency to film one! Internet-wide one of the main sources of 'fly-aways' is reported (although this is still up for debate) to be interference from mobile/cellular network towers interfering with controller...
